I believe we, as women, often box ourselves into one or two roles when, in reality, we’re multi-faceted and absolutely amazing. For me, it took some big life moments—especially my daughter’s Type 1 diabetes diagnosis—to set my journey in motion. I wasn’t content with the “standard” hospital protocol, so I dug deep, asked the hard questions, and after hundreds of hours of research, here I am.
